Chinese Technology brand Xiaomi has announced new 9 products at a global event today. Among these, the com[any announced three new handsets in the Redmi 9 series — Redmi 9, Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A.
Redmi 9, Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A price and availability
The Redmi 9 comes in two storage variants of 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. While the former is priced at 149 Euro (roughly Rs 12,700), the latter is priced at 169 Euro (roughly Rs 14,500). This model is available starting today, said the company.
The Redmi 9C also comes in two storage variants — 2GB+32GB and3GB+64GB. They are priced at 119 Euro and 139 Euro respectively. This handset is set to become available in late July.
As for the Redmi 9A, it will be available in a single storage model of 2GB+32GB that costs 99 Euro and is already available internationally.
Redmi 9 specs
The Xiaomi Redmi 9 offers a 6.5-inch FHD+ display (2340x1080p resolution) with 89% screen-to-body ratio. The handset is powered by Media Tek Helio G80 coupled with up to 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
For imaging duties, the Redmi 9 has a quad-camera setup of 13MP+8MP+5MP+2MP. On the front, there is an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Backed by a 5020mAh battery, the handset offers 18W fast charge support.
Redmi 9C specs
The Redmi 9C offers a 6.53-inch display. The handset is powered by MediaTek G35 SoC coupled with up to 3GB RAM and 64 internal storage.
For imaging duties, the Redmi 9C has a triple-camera setup which includes a 13MP+2MP+2MP. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the handset comes in three colour options of Twilight Blue, Sunrise Orange and Midnight Grey.
Redmi 9A specs
The Xiaomi Redmi 9A offers a 6.5-inch HD+ display (720x1600p resolution) with 20:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by Media Tek Helio G25 coupled with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
For imaging duties, the Redmi 9A has a single camera on both front and back. In the front, there is a 5MP sensor while on the back there is a 13MP sensor. Backed by a 5000mAh battery, the handset offers 10W charge support.
