American video game developer Naughty Dog’s survival action RPG The Last of Us: Part II has become the fastest-selling PlayStation4-exclusive game ever within five days of its launch, as per a report by GameRant.
Prior to The Last of Us: Part II, the title for the fastest-selling PS4-exclusive game was held by Uncharted 4, another title by Naughty Dog. As per the report, the early sales numbers, excluding the digital sales, are quoted as being “1% higher than that of Uncharted 4”. Now, with the digital sales factored into the calculations, the game will most probably break the previous record set by Uncharted 4. According to the report, the game has already been declared the fastest-selling game PS4 game in the UK.
The action-adventure game can be purchased from the PlayStation Store in India for Rs 3,999. This is the base game price. The base game file size is 93.37GB. There is a The Last of Us Part II Digital Deluxe Edition available too on the PS Store which comes at a price of Rs 4,799. This edition contains the digital soundtrack, digital Dark Horse mini art book, six PSN avatars for PS4 and PS4 dynamic theme. The game file bears a size of 99.04GB.
The Last of Us: Part II took seven years to arrive after the first game. It is the continuation of Ellie and Joel’s journey in the game world of the post-pandemic US which is not just peopled with the Infected but infected with people and communities too oblivious to the troubles of others. It’s survival, the classic landscape to find the right companions, test loyalties of people and to find out the meaning for life in an environment that can turn hostile at any moment.
