A new Spider Man game. A Horizon Zero Dawn sequel. And a new Gran Turismo, Resident Evil, Hitman, and NBA 2K. Sony had a PS5 game revealed, as it announced more than two dozen titles for the PlayStation 5 – including several exclusive ones – that would launch or release on its next-generation console. The PS5 event also gave us our first look at the console itself. It was unexpected, even though many hoped it would happen. With this, it is time to quickly run through the biggest PS5 announcements.

PS5 design

From one angle, the PS5 looks like two white layers sandwiching a black interior. But even more importantly, the launch will feature two PS5 variants: a PS5 with a 4K Blu-ray disc drive, and a PS5 Digital Edition minus 4K ray-ray disc drive. Revealed in both PS5 Hardware Trailer.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Introduced in the 2018 PS4 original, Miles Morales now takes center stage in the PS5 sequel. What happened to Peter Parker? No clue yet Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a launch title for the PS5, and if it’s a next-gen exclusive, it’s going to sell a lot of PS5. Watch the first trailer

Gran Turismo ismo

Simulation Racing goes up one notch on the PS5 with Gran Turismo 7, which is the next iteration in the long-running franchise. The Gran Turismo 7 trailer features a lot of cars – Porsche, Lamborghins, Lemons, you name it – with a look at the menu and game modes. Expected on launch.

Horizon barred west

The sequel to PS4’s Horizon Zero Dawn takes place in the Forbidden West, “a country far away in America devastated by massive storms.” The three-minute Horizon Forbidden West trailer is grand and initially reminiscent of Avatar, though it quickly establishes its identity.

Gta 5

After dropping the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, Rockstar is now promising an “expanded and augmented” GTA 5 for next-gen consoles in 2021. It will come exclusively with a new, standalone GTA Online for PS5 which will be free for a limited. Time. learn more on link.

Ratchet and Clank: Except Crack

The last of the Sony-owned exclusives announced at the PS5 event is a new Ratchat and Clank that is as over-the-top as ever and finds the titular duet traveling great distances through inter-dimensional changes. Hence the title. No word on release year.

Project Athia

One of the high-profile third-party PS5 exclusives comes from Square Enix. Project Athiya is a story-based, action-packed adventure that promises “a vast and vast world filled with beauty and despair”. The trailer of the one-minute project Athiya is a glimpse of that. Again, no word on release.

Ghost: Tokyo

Bethesda is behind another promising PS5 in 2021. Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure title that puts you in the Japanese capital of Titanic which is “full of spirits and other mysterious mysteries.”


The next title of Dishonored producer Arkane Studios, which will let you take every mission in your own way and tine, will be PS5 exclusive. The three-minute DeathLoop trailer featured a lot.

Hitman 3

IO Interactive gives the final chapter of its World of Assassination trilogy, in which agents return to the shoes of 47. The one-minute Hitman 3 trailer gives you the address of the places you’re going to.

Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil returns to a first-person approach to this new story that claims to have a larger focus on combat and exploration.

NBA 2K21

The one-minute NBA 2K21 trailer gives us a look at pre-alpha footage from the next version of the best-selling basketball game.


You play in this game as a God-like warrior who is still in development, but is expected to be available on PS5 and PC in “Holiday 2020”. The developers, Counterplay Games, called it a “console debut”, meaning it would eventually hit Xbox.

While those were the biggest PS5 announcements, it still leaves more than a dozen games coming to the PS5.

Is a remake of Demon spirits; Ambitious Psychological Sci-Fi Returnal Housemarque from Resogun Creators; Vehicle based combat Stars of destruction Looks inspired by Rocket League and Fortnite; LittleBigPlanet 3D platformer spin-off Sackboy: A Big Adventure; And in another 3D platformer Astro’s room. Those five titles are developed or published by Sony.

Among the Indies, we meet a cat with a sentry drone lost, An archer and an eagle go on a mythical journey in The Pathless, and in a vast open world Solar ash. Those three titles are published by Annapurna.

Then there are four story driven titles: Adventure Bugsnax (From Octodad creators), action-adventure Cana: Bridge of Spirits And Jet: The Far Shore, And Goodbye volcano high About love and friendship at the end of days.

He leaves Little devil inside Set in a “Victorian-like” era, and with a new entry in the long-running series Oddworld Soulstorm.
