Abundance of Pokémon! The Pokémon Company has announced three new games – one for Mobile-only, one for Mobile and Nintendo Switch, and the third for Nintendo Switch. The last of them is called the New Pokemon Snap, and as you might expect, it is a follow-up to the two-decade-old Nintendo title. Then Pokémon is a free-to-play puzzle game with app-in-purchase for Android, iOS, and Switch about serving dishes and drinks to customers. This leaves Pokémon Smile, an app for Android and iOS, designed to make toothbrushes for children.
Pokémon Smile – already, completely free – uses augmented reality to spice up toothbrushing. Children can choose to “wear” Pokémon On their heads as hats. The lower third of the screen is made up of animated teeth, Pokemon and cavity-causing bacteria. Point the front camera at your child’s face and as they brush different sections of their teeth, the Pokémon will be protected from bacteria and added to their Pokédex, totaling more than a hundred.
In Pokémon Cafe Mix – available from 23 June – players manage their cafes with the help of Pokémon who own “Cafe Mills”. Puzzles include matching markings, putting on a high score, or getting rid of sugar cubes. This will not only help serve items on your Pokémon-themed menu, but will also allow you to expand your menu offerings and cafes. Solving puzzles will also net you the in-game currency “Golden Acorns”, which can be used in many ways.
New Pokémon Snap – currently in development and without a release date – is an exploration adventure about taking photos of Pokémon in their natural habitats. The more you travel, the more pictures you click, the more Pokémon you will get to see. All of this will help you in building your “Pokemon Photodex”. Bandai Namco Studios is the developer on New Pokémon Snap.
Also, the Pokémon Company also reported that “Mega Evolution” is coming to Pokémon Go. Additionally, Gallerian Farchet from Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield – will appear in Pokémon Go. And if you play both games – Pokémon Go and Sword and Shield – you’ll have special Avatar items on the Switch for the latter’s first expansion, The Isle of Armor, now available.
