There will soon be a Dark Mode toggle by OnePlus to enable Dark Mode in OxygenOS, the company confirmed via a forum post. The feature was low on oxygen, even though it was present on stock Android 10. Now, users who want to enable dark mode have to go Adjustment and then Customization Section to select the option. The company also revealed some other updates for OxygenOS, including a multitasking interface, volume level, and some improvements.
Company said in one Forum post It plans to add dark mode switches in Quick Settings. This will allow users to easily enable dark mode with one tap. The company said that it would first test the new features internally before bringing in the open beta version for users. A stable version will also be revealed later. Internal testing of the feature is going to start this month.
Additionally, the company is making some other changes to OxygenOS Oneplus Phone. The company said that it is optimizing multitasking interfaces so that users can switch apps more quickly and easily. The feature is in beta stage and will be rolled out in the coming days.
OnePlus is making changes in audio output by reducing loudness at the lowest volume level on the phone after complaints. Issues of OnePlus Launcher including lag have already been fixed while using the app.
In addition, open beta build will be released for OnePlus Oneplus 7 And OnePlus 7T Series phones in a few days. It has said that users will have to wait for Android 10 Oneplus 5 And OnePlus 5T Series phone. All the above changes have different timelines and require different levels of testing.
