Smartphone brand Oppo has teased the launch of 125-watt fast charging technology. The company has announced that it will unveil the new charging technology on July 15. This could be the world’s fastest charging technology to be offered by the Chinese smartphone company.
The announcement was made on Twitter via the official handle of Oppo. “If you don’t like waiting to charge, the wait is almost over #FlashForward,” read the company’s tweet.

In June last year, Vivo, the sister company of Oppo, announced 120Watt Super FlashCharge technology which is claimed to charge a 4000mAh battery capacity phone in 13 minutes. In the same year, Xiaomi unveiled its 100Watt charging system which is said to charge 4000mAh battery device in 17 minutes.
Till date, 65Watt SuperVOOC 2.0 is the fast charging technology offered by Oppo with Oppo Find X2 series phones. The series consists of Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro with a battery capacity of 4260mAh. The technology is said to charge the device in 38 minutes.
Recently, the company has announced a special Automobili Lamborghini edition of Oppo Find X2 Pro. The Automobili Lamborghini edition of Oppo Find X2 Pro comes imbibed with elements of the Lamborghini DNA in the design. The company has also created a special design box of the phone which opens and closes like the super sports car’s scissor-style door. The box also has Lamborghini’s signature hexagonal and Y-shaped headlights on it.
