Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has launched the global variant of its budget smartphone — Honor 9A. The smartphone was launched in the company’s home country China back in March.

The Honor 9A smartphone has been launched in a single storage variant of 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that costs 149.90 Euro (approximately Rs 12,000). It will be available on Hihonor, Amazon and other retailers from July and pre-orders will start on July 1.

Backed by a 5000mAh battery that is said to offer up to 33 hours of 4G calls, up to 35 hours of video playback and up to 37 hours of FM radio playback, the Honor 9A comes with a 6.3-inch display 20:9 aspect ratio.
It comes powered by MediaTek MT6765 SoC paired with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users get a triple rear camera setup of 13MP primary camera, a 5MP wide-angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. On the front, there is a single 8MP camera.
Running on Android 10 based Magic UI 3.1 the Honor 9A comes with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
To recall, the Honor 9A was launched in Russia last month. There is no word on the India launch of the handset till now.
Meanwhile in India, the company recently launched Honor 9X Pro at Rs 17,999. This smartphone offers a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2340 pixel resolution and is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 810 octa-core processor which comes with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU paired with 6GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Honor 9X Pro is backed by a 4000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging.
For imaging duties, the Honor 9X smartphone has a triple-lens camera setup at the back that includes a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth camera sensor. For selfies, users will get a 16MP pop-up camera with f/2.2 aperture at the front. There are two colour variants of the handset — Midnight Black and Phantom Purple.
