One of his tweets says: “Here’s my way of designing new title w/Yoji. 1st we discuss the setting for each character, the background, the world, the color, the characteristics, the roles, the images, ideas and keyword going back&forth via E-mail.” Along with the tweet is attached an image that shows the Japanese game developer’s desk, with a baby-shaped doll, a rough sketch, pencils and other writing accoutrements.

The baby is the most obvious link to the Death Stranding world. It seems unlikely for Koijima to think of a different storyline in a fresh virtual world. In the image shared with the tweet, there is a sketch of a ship and the word “BRIDGES” can be seen at its fore part. Sam Porter Bridges is the name of the courier in Death Stranding, modelled after The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus.
These two details hint strongly at the continuation of the Death Stranding universe. Be it true or not, Kojima certainly seems to be enjoying his Twitter teases at the upcoming projects.
