Chinese smartphone maker Black Shark is returning with its next gen gaming phone and will officially launch Black Shark 3 at an event in China on 3 March. The latest gaming flagship is being called Tencent Black Shar 3 after it was announced by the company. A strategic partnership with Tencent Games that is popular for making games such as PUBG Mobile. It is still unknown when the phone will be launched in India and how much it will cost.
This will be the company’s first gaming phone to support 5GThe teaser of has surfaced. Apart from 5G support, no feature of the phone is confirmed. However, thanks to the leaks as well as a look at a certification website, we have some idea of what to expect from a smartphone.
Last week, the Black Shark 3 phone had 3C certification. Speckled Online, and a screenshot of it was shared on SlashLeaks. The screenshot suggested that the phone will come with the model number Shark MBU-A0 and Shark KLE-A0. The 3C listing also indicated that the phone would come with 65W fast charging support. It was recently teasing Black Shark CEO Luo Yozhu on Weibo.
In addition, Tencent will be Black Shark 3 Allegedly 120Hz come with a refresh rate and users will have the option to switch between 60Hz and 90Hz. The phone is also expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC and it will run Android 10 Operating System. Overall, other key specifications such as camera, RAM and the body of the phone remain in the dark.
Black Shark entered the Indian mobile market in March 2019 with its Black Shark 2 which comes in two variants and is priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 39,999 respectively. Apart from the difference in RAM and memory capacity of the two variants, Xiaomi-Backed gaming phone came with the same 6.39-inch display and had a 20-megapixel front camera and a 48-megapixel + 12-megapixel dual rear camera.
