When it comes to the Android 10 update, Samsung is on a spree as the company has already updated most of its compatible flagship as well as some mid-range smartphones. It seems like that the company has now turned its focus towards its tablet lineup. Samsung has already updated the Galaxy Tab S5e, Tab S4 and others. Now, two more tablets — Galaxy Tab A10.1 and Galaxy Tab A 8.0– have started receiving the stable Android 10 update via OTA, according to a report by SamMobile.
According to the report, the Galaxy Tab A10.1 and Galaxy Tab A8.0 with model number SM-T515 and SM-P205, respectively, have now started receiving the Android 10 update. These by the way are the LTE variants and the company is expected to release the update for Wi-Fi variants in coming weeks. Apart from this, the update that is rolling out to these tablets also contains July Security Patch alongside the new Android 10 features.
Owners should look for firmware version T515XXU4BTFK for Galaxy Tab A10.1 and P205DXU5BTFB for Galaxy Tab A 8.0. The one thing that is still unclear about these updates is the version of One UI considering these are the entry-level models from the company, Samsung might ship the older One UI version with Android 10 update.
Those who have not received the update notification yet can check for it manually by heading to Settings ->Software Updates -> Check for updates. They can also head to Samsung’s firmware archive to download the latest update and install it manually.
